About the Academy
Building Programme (2009 - 2011)
The new Academy will open initially in the existing buildings of Cheyne Middle School and Minster College. During 2009 there will be a programme of work to prepare both sites for the opening of the Academy in September, while between 2009 and 2011, new buildings will transform the two sites to fit the vision and needs of the new Academy, with distinctive and stunning new buildings of a design to which Sheppey students have made so much of a contribution. Every effort will be made to ensure that disruption to students is minimal during the building works and students and parents will be kept fully informed at all stages.
