Engaging and valuing students

In order to engage students throughout their time at the Academy and ensure motivation and involvement with the wider life of the Academy, there is a Student Council for each of the five schools. Academy students are encouraged to contribute and each has the opportunity to play an active part in their School Council. Each Council has regular contact with the Principal and the Governing Body, taking issues that matter to students to the people who will listen and act upon these.

The Post-16 Student Voice has a strong say in the direction and future of post-16 provision at the Academy.
