IOSA Prom 2010
Year 11 students attended the inaugural Academy Prom on the 3rd of July at Merlin's Entertainment Complex, Leysdown. The theme of the evening was 'Masquerade at the Oscars' and students and staff embraced the theme for a glittering night of glamour and celebration.
Prom King and Queen for the night, Antony Halsall and Paige Mortimer, voted for by the students, shone and said of the evening "This has been an amazing night - a brilliant way to finish Year 11 after all the hard work of the exams".
Executive Headteachers Alan Klee and David Rahman were pleased that the students had enjoyed the evening and praised the students for their exemplary behaviour on the night. They thanked Sherrie Knight, from the Academy ECM team, who organised the whole event with a committee of student volunteers, for her hard work and dedication.
